MONASH AQUATIC & RECREATION CENTRE
Monday 22 June - Friday 26 June | LIFT MAINTENANCE
Schedule maintenance of the lift will take place for a weeks duration and should reopen on Saturday 27 June pending no unexpected delays.
Wednesday 6 May (for approximately 2 weeks) | CAFE UPGRADE WORKS
We’re pleased to share that some improvement works will soon be taking place in the café area at MARC. Our café provider, Healthlink Catering, will be managing a short refurbishment focused on replacing cabinetry within the main café area and introducing new furniture. These upgrades are designed to enhance the look and functionality of the space for members and guests. more information
Monday 18 May - Friday 10 July | WARM WATER POOL ACCESSIBLE CHANGE ROOMS
Scheduled refurbishment works will take place at MARC from Monday 18 May to Friday 10 July, as part of planned improvements to the wheelchair and accessible (WWE) change rooms. During this period, one accessible change room will be closed at a time, with each room expected to take approximately four (4) weeks to complete. All works will occur during the day, and impacts will be managed to minimise disruption. To help ensure availability for customers who require accessible facilities, customers who do not require the accessible features are encouraged to use alternative change rooms where possible.
Please note, every Friday for the duration of the works both warm water accessibility change rooms will be closed. Please use other change rooms during these times.

OAKLEIGH RECREATION CENTRE
Monday 4 May for approximately 5 weeks | CHANGE ROOM UPGRADE WORKS
We’re undertaking important upgrade works in the main change rooms to improve waterproofing, tiling, fittings and overall amenity for our customers.
What’s happening?
The works will include renewal of wall and floor tiles, waterproofing, shower fittings, partitions and general finishes to ensure a safer and more comfortable change room environment.
When?
- Works commence: Monday 4 May
- Expected duration: Approximately 5 weeks
What’s the impact?
- The main change rooms will be unavailable for the duration of the works.
✅ Alternative facilities available
To minimise disruption, customers can use:
- Two change rooms on the gym floor
- Stadium change rooms
- Alternative lockers located in the group fitness corridor

CLAYTON AQUATICS & HEALTH CLUB
Commencing in May 27 May - 24 June | FAMILY CHANGE ROOM UPGRADE WORKS
Planned works are expected to commence in May, involving refurbishment of the family change rooms. The works will include floor works, tiling and waterproofing. During this period, both family change rooms will be unavailable, with works expected to take approximately four (4) weeks once commenced. Confirmed dates and further information will be shared closer to the commencement of works. We thank you for your patience while these important upgrades are carried out.
Pool Heating Scheduled Work | Wednesday 3 June (7am - 4pm)
Pool heating will be turned off for the duration of the works to all pools. To minimise disruptions, pool temperatures will be raised 1 degree Tuesday afternoon, however pools temperatures may feel cooler during the works.
LYNXIGHT AQUATIC SAFETY SYSTEM | POOL CAMERA INSTALLATION (20 May)
Cameras will be installed in the aquatic areas to support the new
Lynxight aquatic safety system. Contractors may be working at height, and small sections of the pool deck will be temporarily cordoned off for safety. This work will have minimal impact on services and will help enhance pool safety by supporting lifeguards with real‑time alerts.
