Health and Wellness Placement Opportunities

Active Monash offer placement opportunities for students completing Certificate III and IV in Fitness. 

Active Monash is a group of 3 dynamic leisure and aquatic facility; owned and operated by The City of Monash. The leisure centres are highly regarded throughout the Aquatics and Recreation Industry, providing an inclusive and diverse working environment. 

Placement opportunities are provided for students to complete their practical hours as part of their completion of their certificates. These opportunities include covering the following topics: 

  • Communication & Preparation
  • Business Development, Professionalism & Acumen
  • Exercise Assessment & Prescription
  • Workplace Health & Safety

Work Experience

Active Monash has partnered with Holmesglen and WISE Employment to deliver workplace training for students at Holmesglen enrolled in certificate 2 in workplace readiness. As a result, we do not currently have opportunities for high school work experience students.

 Personal Training, Gym Instructor or Group Fitness - please contact activemonashtraining@monash.vic.gov.au
