Whistle Week

Please be advised that whistles will be blown during Minky's Swim School Whistle Week. This will be in part of practice emergency evacuations for Swim School students.

Minky’s Swim School will practice an emergency evacuation every term for every class and level during Whistle Week. This will provide students with an opportunity to practice emergency evacuation procedures, preparing them for any potential situations that may arise during our classes. It is a great way for teachers to educate both students and parents about the dangers associated with water.

Please note, Whistle Week will commence from Term 2 of Minky's Swim School from Monday 1 May - Sunday 7 May 2023. The pool deck supervisor will blow a whistle three times (towards the end of class) to signal all students and teachers to leave the water safely wherein teachers will go over evacuation procedures with their class.
