Swim Carnival Schedule

Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre and Oakleigh Recreation Centre host school swim carnivals typically from November through to March each year.

We accommodate approximately 30 carnivals at each site over the Summer season. Most carnivals are scheduled during school times, on weekdays, with the occasional carnival held on weekends, or outside of standard school times.

As a Council facility we recognise the importance of providing opportunities for young people to participate in aquatic-based programs in a safe environment. Swim carnivals are a great way for students to have exposure to aquatics facilities for sporting and recreational purposes.

Important Information

• The 50m pool will be unavailable during carnival bookings
• Change room access may vary during carnivals
• Parking may be limited on days when carnivals are scheduled
• Carnival bookings may include multiple pools. The online Pool Availability will be updated to reflect what facilities are open for public use
• Bookings including carnivals are subject to change at short notice
• We encourage visitors to check the Pool Availability prior to attending to help plan your visit
