New Pool Pods to improve accessibility!

Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre will be installing two Pool pods that will replace the current hoists in the indoor 25m pool and Warm Water Exercise pool.
Poolpod is a multi-award winning swimming pool lift, transforming pool accessibility.
What can the Poolpod provide for you?
- The system offers our swimmers more independence
- The lifts are accessible for a range of mobility difficulties
- Users can stand or wheel themselves onto the platform which lowers them into the pool
- Lifeguards are always alerted when the system is in use
- Rest assured that there are safety sensors to prevent entrapment
Key dates to be aware of:
- Monday 24 October 8:00pm: removal of existing hoist. No hoist accessibility access to 25m pool from this date.
- Wednesday 2 November 9:00am: Pool Pod accessibility access open
