Winner of NSC's 'Most Innovative Program and Activity' Award

The Australian Sport, Recreation and Play 'Most Innovative Program and Activity' award was presented as part of this year’s 'National Sports Convention' (NSC) Oration.

This year's convention had the largest number of submissions on record. With these exceptionally high standards, 'Active Communities' was nominee, and winner of, the 'Most Innovative Program and Activity' award.

The National Award recognises innovative programs, activities, and events that have been developed to encourage the community to be more active. The 'Active Communities' program is widely recognised as industry-leading for its ingenuity and innovation.

This award recognises the dedication and commitment of our 'Active Communities' staff. Delivering almost 300 Active Outdoor Programs, collaborating with over 55 local clubs, local associations, and local service providers, whilst engaging with over 5,000 City of Monash residents to ‘Participate Their Way’ throughout 2022 and 2023.
