Integrated Practical Placement Program - Graduation 2025
Published on 14 November 2025
On Thursday 13 November, Active Monash congratulated and farewelled the 2025 Integrated Practical Placement (IPP) cohort! The graduation concluded another successful year of the IPP program.
For the last five years, Active Monash has partnered with Holmesglen Institute and WISE Employment to deliver the program, which provides students who have a permanent cognitive impairment, intellectual disability or complex learning needs with the foundation of employment-ready skills through extensive supported practical experiences.
Active Monash was the first recreation centre on a national level to facilitate this partnership program. The successful partnership between Active Monash, Holmesglen and WISE Employment ensures a best-practice educational approach, leading to successful transitions of the students from education into the workplace environment and the community.
Active Monash’s participation in the IPP program has allowed the City of Monash to be a leading organisation in the sector and provide measurable placement and employment outcomes for people with a disability, contributing to a municipality that empowers its community to live healthy, connected lives where we all belong.
