New Group Fitness Waitlist

We are excited that Group Fitness has been growing in all 3 centres. Group Fitness classes are a great way to workout, with fantastic music, instructors, and choreography.

Whilst we will continue to provide great classes and regularly review and update our timetables, we are also aware of your feedback. Participant no-shows, challenges in securing spots for classes, and last-minute cancellations have all been raised. These concerns are a priority for us and we have been actively working behind-the-scenes on the following:

Introducing a Waitlist for all Group Fitness Classes

We are pleased to introduce a waitlist feature for fully-booked Group Fitness classes and as of Monday 4 September 2023 the waitlist feature will be activated.

The waitlist will have up to 5 participants. Participants will be promoted to the class once someone booked-in cancels. We advise participants to cancel their booking for classes they're unable to attend - this is crucial to the success of the waitlist. To give everyone a fair chance to attend a class, we are extending the cancellation minimum notice period to 1 hours prior to the start of class. 

Implementing a No-Show Penalty

We will be introducing more changes to our booking system, starting with the waitlist. Once that has been implemented, we will review and begin a roll-out for a no-show penalty.

Timetable Reviews and Additions

We will continue to regularly review and update our timetable with changes and additional classes. Covid-19 lockdowns saw a loss of 20% instructors across the whole Health and Wellness Industry. This has created challenges relating to many of our classes. We have been working hard behind the scenes to recruit, train, and grow our instructor base. We have recently added 7 new instructors to our team.

Recruiting great staff takes time, but we will continue to work hard to provide the best instructors and outcomes for our members.
