Victorian Water Safety Certificate – Grades 5 & 6
Our Victorian Water Safety Certificate program provides schools with an alternative option for students in grades 5 and 6 to complete the Victorian Water Safety Certificate.
This program is streamlined so that students participate in structured activities, scenarios and assessments that relate to the Victorian Water Safety Certificate criteria, in lieu of completing the full swim and survive program.
This program starts with an incursion at the school to complete the water safety knowledge component of the Victorian Water Safety Certificate. Students then attend the centre to complete the in-water components of the certificate. An additional fun session can be added to the program at the school's request at an additional cost.
Students will be educated in a variety of water skills including water safety knowledge, swimming skill development, survival and rescue skills.
