Active Monash will join the fight to end period poverty and we need your help!

Share the Dignity is a charity which works to make a real, on-the-ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. Each year they collect hundreds of thousands of period products through collection drives and campaigns and distribute these products to charities which assist anyone who menstruates in need of support.

Access to period products is a right, not a privilege. 1 in 5 Australians have been unable to afford such products at some point in their life.

Join the fight by donating menstrual products throughout the month of March. All Active Monash facilities are collection points for sanitary and period product donations.

The Share the Dignity donation bins accept:

  • Pads
  • Tampons
  • Maternity pads
  • Incontinence pads
  • Brand new reusable pads
  • Period underwear
  • Menstrual cups

*All donations must be brand new, still sealed in their original packaging, and must comply with Australian quality standards. Loose pads or tampons or used reusable items are not accepted.

We want to support the people who menstruate across our entire community by raising awareness of period poverty, normalising menstruation and creating wider discussions around period health.
